Your Coach
We have carefully chosen an air-cooled or air-conditioned video coach for your comfort and convenience in Europe, since most of your travelling would be by coach. We however request you to assist us in keeping the coach neat and clean so that all of you can be comfortable during your holiday in Europe. We regret that in the interest of fellow customers, smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages and eating foodstuff is not permitted on the coach.
We operate a seat rotation system so no seat numbers are allocated on coach.
Baggage
We suggest that you carry one set of clothes along with your tooth brush, tooth paste, shaving kit (without scissors) and other accessories in your hand baggage. This is just in case your baggage is misplaced.
Also, please do not keep any money or valuables in your check-in luggage. Money or valuables should be kept carefully with you on person, or in your hand baggage.
We recommend that you travel as light as possible as usually there is no porterage included on some part of your tour and heavy luggage would cause you great inconvenience while on the tour.
Due to limited coach capacity one suitcase per person is allowed on your tour which this single bag should have dimensions not exceeding 30”x18”x10” (76x46x25cm) and weight not exceeding 50 lbs (23kg). Depending on destination, a surcharge of up to 2 Euro per travelling day will be collected by the Tour Director if a second piece of baggage is carried, or if the suitcase exceeds the established weight and/or dimensions. Please carry bags with wheels.
Please take extra care of your belongings while on the tour, as most countries are prone to thefts.
Please note sharp objects like scissors, knives and any form of liquid like gels cannot be kept in the hand luggage. The same has to be kept in your check-in baggage. However airline policies keep changing, hence please confirm the same prior to departure.
Passport & Visa
All Passengers travailing in Europe require a passport, valid for 6 months beyond the conclusion of their trip, and with appropriate visas. Some of the tours enter a country more than once, therefore, multiple-entry visa maybe required for some European countries. Please contact your Travel Agent or applicable Government authorities to get necessary travel information.
Clothing
Warm clothing like sweaters, jackets are essential. Avoid carrying heavy woollens in summer seasons. You must carry a cap, sunglasses, a folding umbrella and comfortable walking shoes (canvas or track shoes).
Punctuality
Your itinerary has been specially designed to ensure that you get the maximum coverage during your holiday. To achieve this, we require your cooperation in being punctual.
Sightseeing as well as various other excursions have been pre-booked for a particular duration and thus, if the group is delayed, the delay will actually deprive you of your own sightseeing time. Local guides have been pre-booked for certain duration and cannot extend their services beyond the specified time-limits. Please do understand that punctuality is solely in your interest to ensure that you have full benefit of all services included in the package. Very often, the entire group may be delayed and may lose valuable time or opportunity due to a few people delaying the whole group.
Due to the latest drivers’ driving regulations policy in Europe it is essential that the given days itinerary is completed within the stipulated driving hours of the driver. It is possible that if the group is delayed for some reason, the free time given at certain sightseeing places could be curtailed.
Hotels
Your hotels have been conveniently located and specifically chosen keeping in mind the tour programme and level, location and space availability. Utmost care is taken to ensure accommodation of good quality.
Most hotel rooms are air-conditioned, but on some days due to extreme rise in the temperature, there is a possibility that it could get hot. Hotel rooms may have facilities like mini-bar, pay television channels, telephones, etc. Please note that these facilities are not complimentary and have to be paid for, based on the actual usage.
Hotels sometimes offer the facility of complimentary safe deposit lockers, which can be availed of.
Please ensure that there are no damages done to your hotel room during your stay, since the same would be charged to you directly by the hotel.
While checking into the hotels, wait in the lobby or coach as advised by the Tour Director. Crowding near him would only delay the check-in process.
There is a remote possibility that you may have to stay in another city than what is mentioned, but care will be taken that you do not miss out on any sightseeing.
To Receive Phone Calls
Please advise your family to spell out your surname clearly. This will help your relatives to get through to you easily and minimize the cost on International calls.
Rooms
We will try our best to provide you with adjacent rooms that have been asked for at the time of booking. The same will be subject to availability at the time of check-in. It is also difficult to provide interconnecting rooms. There is no guarantee for the same. However, the tour manager and the hotel will try their best to ensure that you are provided with adjacent rooms wherever possible.
There is no system of providing drinking water in the rooms. Normal tap water is usually safe for drinking in Europe, except in some cities.
Meals
Breakfasts and some other meals as per the itinerary are included and most meals are served in the comforts of your hotel and some in the other restaurants.
Breakfasts vary from a simple continental to a full buffet breakfast.
Usually there is a choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The menus, however, are fixed in advance and a la carte is not possible.
All lunches served on the tour would be mostly light meals, keeping in mind the travelling that is involved after lunch.
If there is an early morning departure to the airport a boxed breakfast may be provided.
Plan Your Budget
You are advised to plan your budget well in advance and be sure to allocate funds for special events whilst on tour, such as theatre, celebration meals, shopping, side trips and additional optional tours.
Since 1st January 2002, Euro currency has come into existence and is the local currency in the most of European countries including Belgium, Holland, Germany, Greece, Austria, Italy, and France. The currency in Switzerland is Swiss Franc, in UK is British Pound, in Denmark is Danish Krone, in Norway is Norway Krone, in Sweden is Swedish Krone, in Czech Republic is Czech Koruna and in Hungary is Hungarian Forint.
Avoid changing money at the hotels since they offer a very poor rate of exchange.
Change only as much money as you feel you would require in a country. Every time you change and re-change your Currency, you pay an exchange service charge and currency fluctuations which is sometimes as high as 7-10%.
Use all loose coins and smaller denomination notes in me same country, as these cannot be exchanged for another country’s currency.
If you are carrying Travellers Cheques, please keep the purchase receipt in a safer place, away from the original Travellers Cheques.
Tour Director
We request you to kindly cooperate with the Tour Directors and abide by his/her instructions for a successful and memorable tour.
Tipping
Tipping in Europe unlike many parts of the world is something that is expected of anyone providing you a service, for example: Tour Director, Coach Driver, Local Guides. It is mandatory to tip a nominal amount of 1 to 2 Euro per person per day for the duration of the service or tour. Please do note that the Tour Director and Driver, especially in Europe, play a very important role in making your tour a memorable one. Public toilet attendants need to be tipped nominally after use.
Essential Item To Be Carried On Tour
Please carry sunglasses, alarm clock, an additional pair of spectacles if you are using one, umbrella, camera rolls, digital camera chips with a higher MB, extra batteries, chargers for digital camera and mobiles, medicines with prescriptions if required with the drug generic name listed as the brand name would differ from country to country. In case you are carrying your mobile or camera, also carry a multi-plug adapter as sockets are not the same in all countries.
Please carry a photocopy of your passport including, valid visas and keep them separately from the original, for example keep the photocopy in the suitcase and the original passport in a pouch.
Please always carry your original Insurance copy.
There is no hot water kettle provided in most hotels and the same needs to be carried by you along with tea bags, sugar etc. in case of wish to make tea / coffee in the room. However utmost care should be taken to ensure that no damages occur to the hotel property.
Voltage
Voltage in Europe/Scandinavia is 220/110 Volts, in UK it is 240 volts and in Czech Republic and Budapest it is 230 Volts.

Conditions Governing Your Booking
Definition
“You” / “Client” means the person / persons in whose name or on whose behalf the booking is made.
“We” / “Us” / “Company” means Eavar Ltd.
“Independent Contractors” means hotelier / hotel owner, owner of any airlines or shipping company or railway, ferryboat owner / operator, coach owner / operator, or any other person or organization who has been selected by the Company to render services to the Client.
“Tour Cost” means the amount mentioned in the Total Tour Cost column in the Booking form.
Website Accuracy
All information given in this website is based on the information available at the time of publication.
Company solely reserves the right to publish group photographs of the passengers taken during the tour.
Distance, temperature & pre/post tour accommodation prices given in the website are approximate & are subject to change. Photo of meals & sightseeing published in the website are only for reference & may change from actual meals served/sights.
Meals And Special Requests
The menus are pre-set menus provided for meals on the tour. Unlike an airline, we cannot process a special meal, nor do we guarantee a special diet to the client, except to the extent mentioned in the brochure and preferred by you. We however reserve the right to change the meal arrangement if circumstances make it necessary to do so. In the event that the client wakes up late and misses the breakfast offered to him or the client is out on his own and reaches late and misses any meal offered to him by the Company, then no claim can be made for the meal, which he has missed and not utilized.
Where special requests for room allocation, diet consideration on tour / cruise etc. are made in writing at the time of booking, every effort will be made to ensure that they are honoured. However the Company will not be held liable for claims of damages or consequential loss if such requests are not honoured.
Hotels
You will be out sightseeing most of the time and hence we have taken care to select hotels which are comfortable. Most of the rooms have private bath or shower. The hotels will either be those shown in the hotels list or of the same category.
In Europe, since the rooms are comparatively small, we would recommend only 3 persons in one room for your own comfort. Triple rooms are usually no larger than twin rooms and the third bed is often a roll-away cot put in a twin room for the night.
All baggage and personal effects are at all times and under all circumstances your responsibility. We will not be responsible or liable in case of loss of such items from the hotel.
Any damages caused to the hotel rooms during your stay, shall be payable by you, and the Company will not be liable for the same.
Itinerary Change & Termination
We may often operate more than one coach per departure date. For the comfort and convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes reverse the direction, or slightly amend the itinerary including the flight routing. We will advise you of these amendments, prior to the start of the tour or on tour.
We reserve the right to change any brochure information before or after your booking the tour due to any events beyond our control. Major road works may necessitate route changes in the itineraries, some restaurants may close or change management, all of these may cause us to make changes in the itineraries. In case we are aware of any changes sufficiently in advance, we will notify you at the time of booking, otherwise our tour director or local representative will inform you of the changes on the spot. There are also very big fairs and exhibitions, where all the hotels are fully booked well in advance, and therefore it may be necessary to stay in hotels in other cities.
The Company has the right at any time and for any reason to terminate this contract after acceptance of deposit but prior to the Commencement of Tour without assigning any reason whatsoever. In the event, the Company terminates this contract, the Company shall refund the amount paid by the client without payment of any interest. The Company also has the right at any time and for any reason to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour, holiday, excursion airline, flight routing or facility it has advertised or published or to substitute an Independent Contractor of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary. In either case, the Company shall not be liable for any damage, additional expense, or consequential loss suffered by the clients or for any compensation claims made.
In the event of the Company exercising its rights to amend or alter any of the services as mentioned in the itinerary, after such tour or holiday has been booked, the client shall only have the right:
In either of these above cases, the client shall not be entitled to, or the Company shall not be liable to the client for any damage, additional expense, consequential loss suffered by him or to pay any amount as refund.
Coach / Sitting
We use air-conditioned/air-cool luxury coaches. We have found it fair to operate daily seat rotation on board our coach, so no seat numbers are allocated. The coaches usually are equipped with an emergency washroom, however this facility is not to be used in lieu of the rest rooms at our frequent comfort stops.
If you are carrying any high value items on the coach, we advise you not to leave them behind when you leave the coach. We will not be responsible or liable in case of loss of such items from the coach. All baggage and personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances your responsibility.
Any damages caused to the coach during your travel, shall be payable by you and the Company will not be liable for the same.
The drivers are bound by specific rules, like maximum driving hours within a day and during a week, rest period per day / week etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel, otherwise certain sightseeing schedules may be missed due to your actions and the same will be nonrefundable.
Accommodation For Child Below 12 Years of Age
It is expressed and given to understand that a child below 12 years of age who is booked on the tour paying the special rate without a bed will not be provided with a bed in the hotel while on the tour under any circumstances. In case the client makes any changes in their rooming while on the tour, the Company shall not make any refunds or pay any compensation to them. In case the Client decides to make any change in the rooming while on the tour subject to availability, then they shall be bound to pay additional charge.
Registration & Booking
In order to reserve your holiday, a non-refundable deposit of 250 Euro per person per tour or the full payment if booking is made within 45 days of departure from your home country must be submitted to Company within 7 days in respect of that tour. This payment is in addition to any deposit required by your travel agent. The deposit is accepted as a first installment of the tour by Company on your travel agent.
There is no Contract between the Company and the Client until the Company has received the initial deposit of EUR 250. Initial deposit just ensures seat or participation on the tour but does not entitle any services like Tickets, Hotel Accommodation until full payment has been received.
Full payment must be paid by no later than 45 days before tour departure or at the time of booking for reservations made less than 45 days before tour departure. In case of non-payment Company reserves a right to cancel booking with subsequent loss of deposit and apply cancellation charges as mentioned therein.
In the case of one or more but not all passengers signing Booking Form it shall be deemed that others have duly authorized concerned signing passenger/s.
In cases where the travel agent through whom the clients have booked the tour signs the Booking Form for and on behalf of the persons named in the Booking Form, it shall be deemed and construed that the clients have duly authorized the said travel agent to sign on their behalf. The signing of the Booking Form by the client or by their travel agent shall mean acceptance in totality of the Terms and Conditions contained herein by the Client/s.
No person including the Employee/s and the Agent/s of the Company other than the Eavar, in writing, has the authority to vary, add, amplify or waive any stipulation, representation, term or condition set forth in this Brochure. Any assurance given by any person shall have no consequence.
The Company reserves the right to decline to register any person/s as Client/s for any Tour or to cancel their registration without assigning any reason.
Transfer From One Tour to Another
A transfer from one tour to another, prior to the departure of the originally booked tour will be treated as a cancellation on that tour, thereby attracting the cancellation charges as stated hereunder and a fresh booking on another.
Cancellations
All services such as airline seats, hotel accommodation, ground transportation for group tours are pre-blocked well in advance. We are liable to pay penalties to all our suppliers / vendors if these services are released within the below mentioned time frame. If circumstances make you cancel the Tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing. Such Cancellation will attract the following Cancellation Charges:
In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of time of cancellation.
The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason.
The Company cannot assume responsibility for any additional cost or any fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the Company.
Refunds
Refunds (If any) for amendments and / or cancellations will be paid directly to you for bookings made directly with the Company’s office. For bookings routed through our Preferred Sales Agent (PSA) or your Travel Agent, the refunds will be routed through them. It would take at least 30 days to process refunds. There is no refunds payable for any unutilized services (e.g. Meals, Entrance Fees, Optional Tour, Hotel, Sightseeing etc.)
Scope Of Activity
We are travel and holiday organizers only. We do not control or operate any airline, neither do we own or control any shipping company, coach or coach company, hotel, transport or any other facility or service mentioned in this brochure. We take care in selecting all the ingredients in your holiday; but because we only select and inspect them and have no control in running of them, we cannot be responsible for any injury, death, loss or damage, which is caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any hoteliers, airlines, shipping company, coach owner / coach operator who are the Company’s independent contractors arising outside our normal selection and inspection process.
Privacy Of Information
We treat all the information furnished by you as confidential and will share only the necessary information with airline, hotels and other service providers who will provide the services to you during your tour. However we may be constrained to disclose the information furnished by you, if such disclosure is required by the law or by an order of a court or the rules, regulations or enquiry by any government / statutory agency having regulatory authority over the Company.
Conditions Of Passage
These conditions are applicable to every Client of the Company, who books a tour or travel arrangement. In the event of a Client booking through us a Tour or Tour Arrangement of any other Tour Operators like Star Cruise etc., the “Terms and Conditions” specified by such Tour Operator, including their payment schedule, cancellation, refund etc. shall be applicable, in addition to our “Terms and Conditions” while determining the contractual relation between the Client, the Tour Operator and us.
In case of publication of any travel scheme offering any discount or benefit by the Company, it shall have the sole right to withdraw such a scheme or discount at any time unless a specific assurance of the contrary is published.
Health And Insurance
It shall be the duty of the Client to inform the Company in case the Client has any medical condition that may affect his ability to enjoy and pursue fully the Tour Arrangements and wherein the interest of the Group or any member thereof is prejudicially affected.
The Company reserves the right to ask the Client to provide written certification of his medical fitness before departure. In the event that a medical condition has not been disclosed the Company will not be liable to provide any assistance.
It is mandatory that you take out a holiday travel insurance policy from your local travel insurers.
We are repentant that we cannot endow with individual aid to any of the tour member for walking, dinning, getting on & off from any of the transport vehicle or other personal needs. So it is indispensable that a qualified companion must accompany traveller who needs such assistance.
Communication
The communication directed at the address of the Client as disclosed in the “Booking Form” shall be deemed to have been communicated to the Client. A Travel Agent through whom a Client books will act to relay information from Client to Company and vice versa. The Company shall not responsible for any error on part of such Travel Agent in this regard.
Condition Of Travel
The Client will have to strictly follow the Tour Program. There shall be no refund, if the client fails to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or joins the group later or leaves the group before culmination of the tour. It shall be noted that for all purposes, it shall be the responsibility of the Client to reach the place of commencement of the Tour and register with the representative of the Company at the appointed place, date and time.
In the event that a client misses on any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same.
In case if a client along with his family is compelled to discontinue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of passport or any travel documents, no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services.
Even if a client is unable to reach the place of commencement of the tour due to any reason whatsoever including loss of baggage or loss of travel documents, his booking shall be treated as “no show” on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied.
If a client avails pre-tour services or part thereof, but fails to join the group for the main tour at the appointed place, or cancels the tour and tour arrangements or part thereof, it shall be treated as “no show” and there will be no refund whatsoever for the unutilized pre-tour or main tour services.
Company reserves the right to withdraw tour membership from anyone whose behaviour is deemed likely to affect the smooth operation of the tour or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers and Company, shall be under no liability to any such person. It is hereby declared that the immunities provided under this contract shall be available to the Company’s Managers, including Tour Managers, Employees, Servants and Agents but not to the Independent Contractors selected by the Company.
The prices quoted in this brochure have been calculated at the rate prevailing at the time of printing of this brochure. The Company reserves the right to amend the prices published in this brochure in case of currency fluctuations, changes in the various gross rates of exchange, and/or fuel costs, special/high season charge levied by the suppliers, hike in the airline/rail charges before the date of departure and to surcharge accordingly. All such increases in price must be paid for in full before the departure by the Client.
If you book with a travel agent and your booking with that agent includes, but is not limited to Company arrangements, your contract is with your travel agent and Company is simply a supplier to your travel agent.
Liability
No person other than the Company, in writing, has the authority to vary, add, amplify or waive any stipulation, representation, term or condition in the brochure.
Each of these conditions shall be severable from the other and if any provision be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall nevertheless have full force and effect.
No liability on the part of the Company arising in any way out of the Contract in respect of any tour, holiday, excursion facilities shall exceed the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the tour holiday, and shall in no case include any consequential loss or additional expense whatsoever.
If no suit/action is brought against the Company within three months of the last day of the Tour, the Company shall be discharged from all liabilities under/or arising out of this Contract and the Client shall be deemed to have relinquished/abandoned all his rights under or arising from this Contract.
The Company shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client for any over stay expenses due to delay or changes in bus / air / trains / ship or cancellation of special bogie or other services due to sickness, weather conditions, strike, war or any other cause whatsoever and sightseeing missed and / or program being cancelled after the commencement of the tour and before the due period due to any unavoidable situations which are beyond our control.
The Company shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client for any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and / or damage or any misadventure howsoever caused and also to the temporary or permanent loss of or damage to baggage or personal effects howsoever caused. In this condition the expression “Howsoever caused” includes negligence on the part of any person.
The Company also shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to any act, omission, default of Independent Contractor or other person or be any servant or agent, employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facilities or service for the client or for any person travelling with him howsoever caused.
In case Company offers any adventures activities then it is significant to note that all the passengers should enjoy such activity / ride at their own risk as such kind of adventure might be risky at times especially for heart patients, expecting women, people with blood pressure etc.
If the client has any complaint in respect of the services provided by any of the Independent Contractors, the client shall immediately notify the same in writing to the Independent Contractor and a copy thereof should be handed over to the Tour Manager of the Company in order to enable the Company to take up the matter with the Independent Contractor so that in future other clients do not face the same difficulty.
Any claim or complaint by the client must be notified to the Company in writing within 7 days of the end of this holiday tour. No claim notified to this Company beyond this period will be entertained and the Company shall incur no liability whatsoever in respect thereof.
